I hope you had a blessed week. This familiar verse needs our attention: “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” (2 Cor 5:17). Guys, being “in” Christ, we are a “new” person. The question I would ask, are we image-bearers for Jesus Christ?

Please calendar the date above. We will be opening registration soon, Our main speakers are, Jerry Bangert, John Hartshorn, Winston Parker and Lee Yih. We successfully negotiated not only having our conference at SpringHill Suites, but we will be rooming at SpringHill. This is great news.

FATHER’S DAY
I pray you all had a great Father’s Day. I wanted to pass on this short article by Tim Challies, “All the Compressions of All the Tender Fathers”
My Father’s Day was great, not only because I had my son Mark and his family with us, but I was able to have a moment with our server while my family was walking about outside. This server, Jolene, I have spoken with in the past, but this time had a tender conversation about the “life changing” Gospel of Jesus Christ. She still has lots of questions, but promised to read Steps To Peace With God. Pray for Jolene…….

Russia, One Divine Moment: Paul Eshleman
I was introduced to the “persecuted church” as a new believer. These ministries impacted my walk greatly. One of them was the Jesus Film Project. Early on, I called the director, Paul Eshleman, and challenged him as to the validity of these amazing stories. He was kind and patient and shared the diligent steps they take to make sure every event is documented with multiple witnesses.
I thought I would share some of these stories. Here is one that only God could orchestrate.
“BLESSED IS EVERY ONE THAT FEARETH THE LORD” (Psalm 128:1)
“IT IS THE LORD OF HOSTS WHOM YOU SHOULD REGARD AS HOLY. AND HE SHALL BE YOUR FEAR, AND HE SHALL BE YOUR DREAD.” (Isaiah 8:13)

Take a moment to reflect on this profound statement. He wrote his book, “The Fear of God” in 1679
Fear of God is a totally neglected theme in the church today…….
