"………. Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

With all that’s going on around us, I pray this week you still have a heart of gratitude and continue to hold on to the peace that only comes from the Lord (John 16:33). As for me, it’s been difficult because as I look around I see how things we once knew have now radically changed. Today I hardly recognize that which was commonplace just 6 short months ago. The following verses caught my attention this week:
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3:1-7)
This week I had great distress over a man that was quite instrumental in my schooling on apologetics years ago. His name was Ravi Zacharias. He was the founder of RZIM (Ravi Zacharias International Ministries). He died (4) months ago, but just over a week ago, all hell broke loose. It now appears there was a hidden side to this man. Last week I said I wasn’t going to water-down Biblical truth. So here are (3) paragraphs from a paper Walt Henrichsen wrote 10 years ago titled, “Harping on Disobedience.” If you want me to send you the full article, let me know.
I know I sound like a broken record, but I believe the (2) biggest problems in the church today:
- Christians want to serve God on “their” terms and not His
- Christians have lost their Fear of the Lord.
Prayer Request: Please pray for the SMR (Southwest Men’s Retreat) this weekend. Pray for all the men and the following teachers: Judge Bill McCurine, Dr. Brice Kopas, Nathanael Buss, Dr. Jerry Bangert and Winston Parker. Thanks men……………..
As I mentioned in my last email, we are looking for “A Few Good Men.” When Lee Yih came up with the name of our men’s conference: Zion Boot Camp, he had a specific purpose in mind. Why does every branch of our military have a boot camp? A shortened version might read to give a soldier the training he needs in an atmosphere of obedience and dependence on others that could very well save his life. Now, what does it take for the Christian man exemplify this theme? He has to be a Soldier for Christ, in a perpetual state of brokenness & dependence, and obedient to God’s Word that may very well save his soul for all eternity………
