Hi Men:

I pray our sweet Savior has drawn close to you this past week and your days were directed by who your are in Christ.

I ran across the above photo taken by photographer, Ray Majoran. He is a Christian brother and has taken many photos in India. There are a number of us in the MIM (Ministry in the Market) network that were quite involved and some still are with the brothers and sisters in India. Case in point, Pastor Daniel Janagam of Hyderabad is a faithful brother, along with his wife Hephzi, who work closely with a number of pastors and their wives throughout India and other nearby countries. Daniel truly understands Biblical discipleship. We will talk more about Daniel in the days ahead.

If you Google “How many Hindu gods are there” – you will find there are from 33 million to over 330 million. I’m not kidding….. ! Regardless, they are all demonic, so when you step into India, you better have the armor of God fastened securely. Things are heating up in India with an ever more hostile government and persecution from violent political groups (i.e., BJP & RSS). The mantra now in India is, “To be Indian is to be Hindu.”
Jesus said in John 14:6,

“I am the way, and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

That verse has created heart-burn to violence and martyrdom. Continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in India.

CIRCLE BACK

Meet Liz….. Several months back Liz saw the Bible tracts that I had on the table for one of the men that I had been meeting with. She told me she was a new Christian, but we didn’t have time to visit. Last Saturday I was meeting a young man for the first time, currently stationed at Nellis AFB. Liz was our waitress and told me some WONDERFUL NEWS….. she had been baptized. This time, I had more time to visit with her. She was raised a Catholic, married a Muslim and is now BORN AGAIN. She shared with me that she doesn’t really have any mature Christian women that she can meet with. I told her about my wife and she seemed excited and gave me her email address. I walked out with my new Air Force friend and said our next step is to get together with another Air Force buddy that I spend time with. I was going to leave, but “circled back” to encourage Liz, give her an additional gratuity and grab a photo so could show my wife. Men, we are surrounded by so many opportunities. Please pray for Liz…..
