“The Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons”
1 Timothy 4:1

Hi Men:

I pray our sweet Savior has drawn close to you this past week and your days were directed by who your are in Christ.

I ran across the above photo taken by photographer, Ray Majoran. He is a Christian brother and has taken many photos in India. There are a number of us in the MIM (Ministry in the Market) network that were quite involved and some still are with the brothers and sisters in India. Case in point, Pastor Daniel Janagam of Hyderabad is a faithful brother, along with his wife Hephzi, who work closely with a number of pastors and their wives throughout India and other nearby countries. Daniel truly understands Biblical discipleship. We will talk more about Daniel in the days ahead.

If you Google “How many Hindu gods are there” – you will find there are from 33 million to over 330 million. I’m not kidding….. ! Regardless, they are all demonic, so when you step into India, you better have the armor of God fastened securely. Things are heating up in India with an ever more hostile government and persecution from violent political groups (i.e., BJP & RSS). The mantra now in India is, “To be Indian is to be Hindu.”
Jesus said in John 14:6,

“I am the way, and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

That verse has created heart-burn to violence and martyrdom. Continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in India.

Meet Liz….. Several months back Liz saw the Bible tracts that I had on the table for one of the men that I had been meeting with. She told me she was a new Christian, but we didn’t have time to visit. Last Saturday I was meeting a young man for the first time, currently stationed at Nellis AFB. Liz was our waitress and told me some WONDERFUL NEWS….. she had been baptized. This time, I had more time to visit with her. She was raised a Catholic, married a Muslim and is now BORN AGAIN. She shared with me that she doesn’t really have any mature Christian women that she can meet with. I told her about my wife and she seemed excited and gave me her email address. I walked out with my new Air Force friend and said our next step is to get together with another Air Force buddy that I spend time with. I was going to leave, but “circled back” to encourage Liz, give her an additional gratuity and grab a photo so could show my wife. Men, we are surrounded by so many opportunities. Please pray for Liz…..

Leaving Gospel Tracts – Be Creative

Men, I don’t have to tell you what this is…….. 😊
There are unlimited places to leave tracts. And what better place than when a man is relaxing as he sits in his own private throne room!

Lots more stories for another time……..

Excited to His slave,
(Gal 2:20)

Men: The last time I put these in my Friday Letter was in 2017. Well, it’s time to revisit these (2) devotionals. In Day 68, when was the last time you saw Joseph in this light? How about the last sentence. Unless your wife gets convicted by the Word of God, it won’t happen!

Leadership and Why Obey – Red Book Day 68/69

The purpose of these devotionals is to help you think Biblically

Lost Valley Men’s Retreat – Thank You for Praying

I didn’t have a photo from the actual retreat in the mountains of Colorado, but I was sent this one from the guys that attended from Phoenix (also CA, KY & TX). I heard the retreat was GREAT!!

Worse Than Any Affliction: Why I Refuse to Grumble

by Joni Eareckson Tada

Men: This is a profound article by Joni Eareckson Tada. You can read this in about 5 minutes, but I might suggest that you take a notepad and read it carefully and thoughtfully. Take your time to reflect on the Bible verses that Joni uses. While you’re at it, make a list of the things you have been grumbling about……… (you know: your bad knee, the persistent cough, the leaking faucet, Wash D.C., grouchy wife, the boarder crisis, dark clouds on the horizon and pesky insects waking up…..)

By the way, if you missed her 13 minute video that was released a year and a half ago, here it is. Songs of Suffering, make sure you find some time to Watch It Here.

“Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men……..”
2 Cor 5:11-21 (KJV)

Walt & Leette Henrichsen

Men: I have to be honest, I don’t think I have ever heard this message from Walt. It was a message to the staff and leadership of the Navigators, probably when he was about the age in the photo above (I just love that photo of Walt and Leette).

Such an important message. Walt touches on the Ministry of Reconciliation, that we are all Ambassadors for Christ and other profound points. I know God will speak with you individually as you listen to this teaching

Justin Peters said, “This May Be The Most Moving Video You’ll See In 2024.” For those of you that don’t know, Justin Peters, he was born with Cerebral Palsy and has lived his life in a wheel chair. He witnessed the baptism of Brandon Maya in Sherman, TX. A dear brother forwarded this video to me from Justin Peters Ministry. It is not only touching, but so encouraging. Share it with your wife and a friend ……….

Like Your Sinful Neighbor

by Paul Tripp

As our culture grows increasingly secular and hostile to the core beliefs of the Bible, it’s tempting to go into hiding and not be as bold. So, we must remind ourselves not to be ashamed of the gospel while also meditating on the power, promises, presence, provision, and protection of God as we evangelize!

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16)

I thought this was so good from the book, Piercing Heaven, Prayers of the Puritans

Lord, we profess the faith, and yet care not for the dying.

We profess, and yet by our whole life show to them that can see how little a measure of it we have in our hearts.

Lord, lead us more into the power of things. Then the values of Him who has saved us, and called us out of darkness into His marvelous light, will be made known to others. Amen.
