Hi Men:
I pray you had a great week “in” Christ. I love the verse that reads, “Put on the Lord Jesus Christ………” (Romans 13:14) Question: Have you put Him on? Have you spent any time on your knees asking Jesus about this? As we have discussed so many times, Christ lives in us, so how about this verse: “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.” — Jesus Example: Let’s take the sin of unforgiveness since it’s a big problem with many “so-called” Christians. Actually, to forgive others is a command, so if you refuse to forgive, then based on the verse above: (1) you don’t love Jesus; (2) God will not love you and (3) God & Jesus will NOT come and live in you. Simply put: “Go To Hell!” It’s time to take an inventory of our disobedience to His word…… and………whatever you do, do not confuse Grace with Obedience.
HURRICANE HILARY
So what’s up with Hurricane Hilary? As we know from Isaiah 45:7, God 
can do anything He wants and that helps maintain my “Fear of the Lord.” Just take a moment to reflect what He did on the island of Maui……….
So right now, Hilary is several hundred miles south of Cabo and will most likely develop into a Cat 4 later today. What makes this hurricane unique is the fact that only (1) hurricane has been recorded to land in So. Californina and that was in 1854. The last tropical storm that landed was 84 years ago. When it finally arrives in California this Sunday, it will be a tropical storm or most likely a tropical depression. Most meteorologists will be focused on the potential rainfall and there’s a good chance Las Vegas will also be a recipient. In normal circumstances that’s a good thing, but to have a lot of rain in a short period of time can create calamity in our arid region. Death Valley could very well get its annual allotment (2.23”) from Hilary this weekend!
I am always blown away by how much water these systems can hold. I remember when Hurricane Harvey hit Texas (2017), then stalled, went back to sea and re-landed in Louisiana. Scientists and meteorologists estimated that Harvey dumped a total of 33 trillion gallons of water! More water than flows over Niagara Falls in a year…….. whoa! By the way, 33 trillion gallons of water is equal to: 125 quadrillion tons. To make it simpler to understand, that amount of weight would make 19 trillion Hoover Dams! [Note: Hoover Dam weighs 6.6 million tons].

- “What do you seek?” (John 1:38)
- “Who do you say that I am?” (Matt 16:15)
- “Do you love me more than these?” (John 21:15)
- Wisdom, Power, Wealth, Worry, Anxiety, Anger, Judgement, Family, Position, etc)
If Jesus isn’t the answer, you need to re-evaluate. Jesus must be #1
