Did you know?
Scientists just discovered a queen ant that lays eggs hatching into two completely different species: One mother. Two species. Zero scientific explanation.
A Few Mind-Blowing Facts:
- The Iberian harvester ant queen (Messor ibericus) can give birth to her own species and to the builder harvester ant (Messor structor).
- She removes her own DNA from some eggs — then clones the DNA of another species’ male.
- All her workers are hybrids — part one species, part the other.
- Some colonies produce the other species’ males even in regions where that species doesn’t exist.
- Scientists coined a new word just to describe it: xenoparity — “foreign birth.”
- This discovery shatters the textbook definition of what a “species” is.
When the smallest creature on Earth rewrites the rules of biology, maybe it’s time to stop redefining nature and start believing the Creator.

@ Discount Tire – Meet Adam and Jorge
Last Friday morning, I went to Discount Tire to replace the aging tires on my truck (the day before, my friend Adrian introduced me to Jorge, the customer service rep). Instead of waiting in the lobby area, that is normally par for the course, I asked if I could watch and visit while they worked. That’s how I got to know Jorge better, and Adam, the service tech. Adam was an Army veteran with a wife and two young kids. Adam was more than happy to show me how their tire equipment worked — it truly was fascinating….. especially the balancing machine with laser precision.
When they finished, I told Adam, “I’ve got something for you.” He smiled and said, “What’s that?” I said, “Has anyone ever given you a packet worth a hundred million dollars?” He laughed, and I told him, “This is worth far more — it’s the Gospel of John with a short message inside, Steps to Peace with God.” I asked both of them if they had any spiritual background and they really hadn’t. One of them had never heard the term “Gospel.” That opened the door for me to explain what it means and how it changed my life. I also gave each of them a cartoon tract titled Are You a Good Person? and explained that most of us think we’re good. They were genuinely thankful, and of course tipped them both. I left super encouraged — realizing again that if I had just sat in the waiting room, I would have missed an incredible opportunity, right in front of me. As Scripture reminds us, “Preach the word, be ready in season and out of season……” (2 Timothy 4:2)

I even went down to the Regina Cleri Seminary in Tucson, AZ in 1966, but rather than signing all the entrance paperwork, my mom suggested that I finish high school at Bishop Gorman H.S. in Las Vegas.
