MIM National Laymen’s Conference
Dallas, Texas – June 5-6, 2026
“We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.”
Colossians 1:28-29
Hi Men:
I pray your week has been a blessing and you have given thanks in “all” circumstances. The above verse was the “theme” verse for the MIM Layman’s Conference in Dallas this past weekend. Think about what it says:
- We proclaim Him (Jesus)
- Admonishing (warning) every man with all wisdom
- Teaching every man with all wisdom
- To present every man complete “in” Christ
- So for this purpose, we labor and strive by His power which works mightily in us
Amazing! Of course you could have a full discourse on those 2 verses. But simply put, Colossians 1:28-29 is at the core of E2. And that was the primary objective of the conference, to encourage men that are currently engaged in E2 (Evangelism & Edification) through one-on-one discipleship.

IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD……….. or in an Uber
Not exactly in the backyard, only a thousand miles SE from Las Vegas in Dallas, TX 🤠
After the Vegas guys arrived in Dallas, we took Ubers. Since there were four of us, I took the passenger seat (my favorite of course). This is a condensed version of what transpired during our rides. Each of our drivers received: Steps To Peace With God, The Million Dollar Gospel of John, Are You a Good Person?, a couple World Cup Million Dollar Bills and the Jesus Card.
Driver #1: Vaasu from India picked us up from the airport. His English was a bit broken, but having been to India I could understand he was from the city Vijayawada, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He was not married, no children and lived with his mother. After I gave him all the tracts, I asked if he had ever heard of The Jesus Film. He hadn’t, so I asked if he would like to watch it with his mother in his native language of Telugu. Note: The Jesus Film has translated the movie into 280 languages just in India! So Vaasu definately wanted the Jesus Film in Telugu – he gave me his cell number and I texted it to him. This is what the text said:
“I wanted you to see this great video: JesusFilm.org/Jesus/Telugu. Let me know what you think.”
Driver #2: Girum from Ethiopia took us to Hard Eight BBQ. I can’t remember exactly, but I think he said he had 3 children and is married. I had basically the same conversation, gave the same tracts and he also wanted The Jesus Film. So I texted him the movie in his language of Amharic.
Driver #3: Beiquer from Venezuela picked us up from the BBQ and dropped us off at the airport. He’s married, had one daughter and is a Christian. We had a delightful conversation and wanted everything. I sent him The Jesus Film in Spanish and in English for his daughter. He asked if I would text him so we could stay in touch. How about that!!

My wife and I are heading to Carson City later this morning to see our newest granddaughter for the first time. Her name is Evie and she is 1 month old 💙

Do you have men in your life that you are “totally” accountable to?
This was brought up at the Dallas conference. I have had men call me an tell me that God is opening doors to move forward in this direction or that —- but seldom ask for my honest input. Why? Because in most cases they have already made their mind up. The mentors/accountability partners I have had in my life have kept my “deceitful & wicked heart” in check. “Faithful are the wounds of a friend…..” Proverbs 27:6
Over the years, I am so grateful for them 🙏

This is such a great presentation, you don’t want to miss it. It will help you greatly in talking to an Atheist. I love how Ray uses the Hummingbird to tackle the nonsense of Evolutionists….. and then uses the “law” to convict Joe.
